Old Scribbly

From the "Floramystix" exhibition Fairhill Native Plant Nursery 2002 - Some say the wriggly lines on the bark of the Scribbly Gum are tunnels made by the Scribbly Gum Moth caterpillar Ogmograptis scribula as it gradually eats its way to adulthood. Others say they are the ancient laws of the forest written by Old Scribbly in a language no longer understood by most modern humans.
